In Vanessa's words "My other snap favorite is from when I talked a friend's daughter (very long hair) into donning a body stocking and showing him in a local schooling show costume class as Lady Godiva and her white horse.  Trish showed jumpers. I caught her in the barn getting ready to put a saddle on him -  I insisted that she ride bareback, getting the "but he's a stallion" reaction until she very reluctantly agreed. Later she could not stop talking about how nice he was to ride.  Grenadier was his own best advertisement for his kids. And, I might add, best open-country outriding mount any rider could throw a leg over."
