Many of us (IC) can feel wetting or soiling. The question is how much time you have before you have an "accident."
Sleeping is different. There is no sensation when I'm asleep
When I'm awake I'm completely aware when I'm going to wet or have a BM. Sometimes I get a "warning" but never enough to hit the bathroom.
Often I get up to several minutes. Usually I get a few minutes when I notice the urge.
Urgency get's stronger until I start to wet. The same with BM's but both have minimal control (from slow to zero).
Even though I have full sensation I rarely try to stop it.
How much warning do you get?

UIC only. My warning times are getting less and less and even more varied depending on medication. The warnings for me are typically around 30 seconds to a couple minutes. Also, I get spasms daily that can be a little or a lot of volume. The spasms vary as well, but most often the more physically active I am, the more often they happen.

I’m moderately urinary incontinent. I’ve been managing well with meds, but the last couple weeks I’ve had less warning and more wetting myself. Not sure what’s going on. I might have several minutes but I tend to overlook the early warning, then quickly escalates to too late.

It varies. During the day I might get some warning. But if suppressed, I'll usually get short notice of only seconds later on- often 5 minutes later. If I am at a stadium, I just wear a diaper because I can't safely get to the washroom on time.
F-IC is much more insidious. I might feel rumblings 5-10 minutes in advance of trouble. But some of those turn out to be nothing. When I can, I sit down somewhere to quiet things down. But while at a grocery store, I can only clench and hope for the best. Walking aggravates it, so clenching is often done standing in place. At that point, I usually know about 5-10 minutes ahead that that the battle is likely lost.

I do not get any warning at all when I'm about to leak or wet, just suddenly start going.

I get about a minute notice that I am about to wet myself but if I start coughing, I get no notice. As far as pooping goes, I don’t know I need to poop until I get a contraction. Once the contraction starts, the poop is filling my diaper within about 3 seconds and I have no ability to stop it. Coughing can also trigger pooping accidents but not as often as it triggers peeing accidents.

Between 6.00am and 9.00am-ish, less than about five seconds ! Try making it to the bathroom in that time !

It can vary between no warning and a miute maybe two at the most before I wet uncontrollably. At night I just pee in my sleep.

Generally, no. I don’t feel an urge to wet if it’s a small to medium amount, I just feel the warmth of urine spread across my diaper area. I sometimes feel an urge if it’s a large amount but I can’t do anything to hold my bladder and stop the accident. Even then, I start peeing a few second after I sense the fullness in my bladder.
I also get bladder spasms sometimes and those are just straight up uncomfortable. Then I can’t exactly feel the urine come out but it usually means my bladder is trying to empty but can’t or actually doesn’t need to empty.
For bowels it’s a bit different. I often feel stomach cramps which is a sign I’m about to have a bm, but I don’t have the control to stop the bm from happening. On an average day I feel cramps only seconds before my bowels move.
Usually I do feel a normal to large sized bm as long as it’s mostly solid. It REALLY sucks to feel a bm happening but know I can’t stop it, so when I get cramps out in public I try to relocate to somewhere I can be alone or start to pack up and go home. If it’s very soft or small, I sometimes I don’t even know I had a bm until I change or some air escapes my adult diaper and I start to smell myself.
Then there’s times where I think I’m super gassy and it turns out I was actually having small bm accidents the whole time- that’s super stressful because on days like that my adult diaper generally feels okay… but then suddenly I’m hit with a really horrible smell and it usually takes me a second to realize it’s coming from my adult diaper.

Yes and no; I have a combined urinary dribble and urge incontinence. The dribbling part (which’s not permanent 24/7 but temporarily several hours /week) I don’t feel and cannot control at all. The urge part of course I always feel - it takes only around 10-20 seconds from „zero“ to „top urgent“. If I try to hold in it’s a 60 to 40 chance that the urge leads to a painful bladder cramp where there is no chance to hold back anything. So, yes, if no toilet is really very nearby, I simply (more or less voluntarily) release in my diaper before a bladder cramp has an opportunity to build up.

Feel an urge is a warning. At first I'll get a little urge and within a couple of minutes it grows to a "red alert." I guess I should be glad that at least I notice the sensation. Typically I'm a heavy wetter. I've never used pull-ups just because of that. I'm well aware how heavy my diaper will get. I just know that it's time to change.
I rarely get cramps but I do feel the urge. Sometimes I get almost 5 minutes but most of the time it's fairly fast. Probably 2 or 3 minutes. The urgency grows strong but what good is the warning? Nothing really helps. I've been IC for so long that I don't even try to stop one. The only good thing is that most of my BM's happen in the morning or when I'm sleeping. Better than having one during the day.
Urgency is the warning. Does it help me? Not really but better than getting a surprise.

Dual IC:
Generally I’ll get a notice, but it’s pretty short. With lots of PT I’ve gotten up to 2-4 minutes. But sometimes it just happens. I can feel it, but there isn’t a dang thing I can do about it. The other thing, is I can rarely tell between gas/solid/liquid. Much like a casino, the house always come out on top.

I have urge urinary incontinence. My bowel control is OK. During the day. I generally get several minutes of warning before I wet myself; and that's long enough for me to make it to and use the bathroom if I'm at home. However, I need to wear a diaper if I'm going to be away from home and can't rely on being able to ge to a bathroom within a very few minutes. At night I sometimes wet while sleeping and sometimes wake up to urges. However, after being in bed for some time, I wet immediately if I try to get up. So I always wear a diaper at night and make no effort to try to make it to the bathroom.

I’m bladder and bowel urge IC. For years, even when I was a kid, I would get about 3 to 5 min warning, sometimes much less with my bowels. I used to bathroom map everywhere I went. Sometimes I would make it, sometimes I wouldn’t.
A little over 21 years ago (~mid 30’s), my urinary warning dropped to 0-2 seconds. Most of the time it’s instantaneous, meaning by the time I feel it, I’m already peeing. I have noticed that if I’m dehydrated I get a little more warning because my bladder is filling very slowly. That has also been shown to be the case during urodynamics testing.
My bowel control has gotten worse too due to a lifelong battle with IBS. Over the years, I have gotten tired of being mad at my body. Thank God for being able to afford quality diapers.

At this point it's very rare I have a warning that worth anything, at most I might get a warning of maybe 5 seconds. I'm completely incontinent now, I can't tell how full my bladder is at all and when I do void I can't even stop the flow, I only notice I'm wetting myself because I can feel the urine flowing out or because my diaper is getting warm. I guess you could say I have a warning because when I bend down or lean over I will likely void. as for my bowels that been a bit of a difficult thing, even when I was little I never knew when I needed to void and just had to trying until something came out and now with fiber and psyllium husk I get a cramp, wet and then a bowel movement

Im mostly urinary incontinent and in diapers 24/7 because of that, when my bladder begins to spasm I have seconds before it just pushes whatever is in my bladder out, The volume I pee can differ greatly, sometimes it’s merely drops, other times more.
I’m also beginning to have some issues with F-IC here when my stomach rumble, I have several minutes, otherwise I will be filling my diaper. I take psyllium husk to deal with F-IC issues which helps limiting the BMs I have in my diaper.

Usually by the time I get a warning, it's already too late; the accident happens soon after. Though since I've started drinking more water, I do somehow have slightly better bladder control. No idea why

I don’t get any urges at night and haven’t had a dry one in many years. I get up to a couple of minutes after getting a pee urge.
Bowel accidents happen infrequently and when they do usually happen with no warning. I haven’t felt them happen when I’ve been busy doing something or asleep but have felt a hot sensation in my stomach and felt myself fill my diaper when sitting idle.

Yes, most of the time that is me out and about doing errands or going to appointments when all of a sudden I just start leaking into my diaper or pull on. I don't get any warning at night as I am a heavy sleeper. I just wake up in the mornig with a very full diaper.
